Purpose

The Sr Manager of Performance Marketing is a critical role to the future success and growth of MegaFood.   This strategic role will drive further growth via paid media across upper and bottom funnel campaigns.  You will bring a hyper analytical and data driven approach to our investment portfolio, partnering with key stakeholders in DTC, Amazon and Brand Management in understanding their objectives and delivering paid media campaigns that optimize against them.

The Sr. Manager of Performance Marketing will be comfortable in a highly visible leadership role.  You will bring a balance of art and science, and have the experience and leadership qualities to engage stakeholders and bring them along for the ride.  You will have a strong bias for action, testing, and reporting.

The right person for this role will have extensive hands-on keyboard experience managing 7 figure+ ad accounts.  Ideally, you will have experience in several PPC channels, and experience with affiliate marketing and OTT is a strong advantage.  You will partner with performance and brand agencies to execute your strategies, and must have extensive experience in agency management.

You will sweat the details, and bring a methodical approach to delivering against revenue, and engagement KPIs across all of the media channels.

There may be times when you are required to come onsite in NH or travel for team meetings. These requirements will be clarified during the interview process.

 

Essential Function and Responsibilities


  • Partner with brand, Amazon and D2C teams to drive efficient media buying across the entire funnel.  Must be comfortable optimizing against various goals - ex. Video completions; lead gen; purchase conversions, etc…
  • Participate actively in strategy discussions related to setting KPIs, with a clear comfort and understanding of how to help guide the creation of those KPIs
  • Accurately projecting and protecting campaign KPIs (revenue, vid views, traffic, lead gen sign-ups, etc) as defined by business owners
  • Create marketing plans & media roadmaps that will help us succeed in the market by combining your market knowledge with your expertise in online advertising
  • Manage PPC, Affiliate and SEO agencies.
  • Creating and executing a strong performance marketing strategy & execution plan
  • Developing and managing digital prospecting and remarketing campaigns
  • Managing budgets and campaigns across all digital channels to drive strong return on investment and efficient CAC.  Generally optimize for LTV/CAC ratio.
  • Ensuring successful planning, execution, optimization for key traffic KPIs via paid, organic & own media channels
  • Identifying and testing new channels to continue to meet or exceed established critical metrics
  • Working closely with other business leaders? to share funnel conversion improvement ideas, feedback & present results.
  • Partner with stakeholders from across the organization to understand their needs, but also share learnings around new launches, competitive insights, risks & opportunities and benchmarking

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience


  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with performance marketing channels including a combination of PPC, affiliates, and programmatic.
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of performance marketing KPIs (CPA, ROAS, etc.) and hands-on ecommerce experience.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO fundamentals, experience optimizing SEO as a channel.
  • Experience with Amazon bid platforms would be a strong bonus.
  • Deep experience with FB Business Manager; Adwords; Google Analytics.
  • Experience “bringing folks along for the ride.”  You are comfortable breaking down complex bid strategies to various audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Experience leading monthly and quarterly performance reviews and strategy sessions with senior leadership.  
  • Effective communicator with the ability to inspire internal and external partners and to effect change in a positive, collaborative, and transparent way.
  • Proven track record of leadership in an environment with ambiguity and complexity.
