Quality Control Technician, Second Shift

Purpose

Performs routine release testing on finished goods.

Essential function

Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following. Incumbents at any level in the job series perform the same or similar tasks.

• Tracks and releases finished goods 
• Maintains both hard copy and electronic files
• Tracks and release raw materials 
• Maintains retain samples for finished goods and raw materials
• Verifies changes on new labels
• Inspects finished labels from label suppliers
• Conducts audits on bottling line and manufacturing processes
• Tracks and releases finished goods
• Conducts process inspections/audits on critical processes 
• Records inspection results
• Maintains reserve and stability samples of finished goods
• Consistently promotes and maintains a harmonious/productive team effort
• Schedules require periodic overtime on weekends.

Knowledge, Skills and Education 

• Associates Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• 1+ years of related work experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask
• Excellent interpersonal skills are required to communicate quality standards and qualifications to other production employees
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
