Essential Functions and Responsibilities: - Identifies and check materials for weighing.
- Verifies that the correct materials and the correct lots are being pulled.
- Weighs and blends all material needed, checking all materials and weights. Completes paperwork.
- Loads mixer and blends material for the required amount of time.
- Labels and moves product to the next work station (presses).
- Operates equipment to move materials.
- Empties mixture into the proper containers.
- Weighs completed formulas to accurate measures.
- Labels and moves product to the next work station (presses).
- Operates the following additional equipment located in the manufacturing department: Blender, Mixer, Roller Compactor, Tablet Press, Encapsulation Machine, Coater & Granulator.
- Finalizes and advances paperwork for the next operation.
- Must be able to identify all material used.
- Consistently promotes and maintains a harmonious/productive team effort.
- Contributes to the department team effort by helping the team achieve the results needed.
- Daily use of good math skills required for computing measurements and must be able to use a calculator to verify results.
- Must be able to read measurements and write/document on production logs.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs of raw material and climb up ladders and stairs.
- Must be able to push/wheel cones of raw materials over 100 lbs.
Required Qualifications:- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year of related work experience
