Location: hybrid, Londonderry NH
We have amazing people, making our amazing product right here in New Hampshire. To ensure we serve all of our employee stakeholders, this position is a hybrid role and requires a weekly onsite presence at our facilities in Londonderry, NH. As a leader, you will determine the schedule to do this best, but typically expect that 1-2 days a week onsite will be needed to fully support the business and connect with our onsite employees and leaders.


Purpose

The Director, People & Culture, serves as a strategic leader and key member of the leadership team. This pivotal role ensures superior employee experience and engagement through strategic and inclusive human resources practices and policies spanning the entire employee lifecycle including talent acquisition and onboarding, employee learning and development, performance management, and separation. The Director, People & Culture works to continually develop a culture that reflects our commitment to DE&I, strong employee performance and learning so employees experience a culture of belonging and can do their best work.

Essential Function and Responsibilities


  • Provides leadership and oversight for all people and culture functions including talent acquisition, health and wellness programs, employee relations, culture, DE&I, and all People team operations. 
  • Directs, participates and/or partners in talent development projects and programs, including competency development, succession planning, pipeline programs, development planning, culture initiatives, change management, employee engagement, and talent planning.
  • Partner with Leadership Team to ensure training and learning experiences contribute to the advancement of high-performing employees and teams.
  • Conduct training needs assessments, creates content and/or partner with external resources to conduct and oversee training sessions across all levels and functional areas.
  • Manage the Learning Management System (Bridge)
  • Provides leadership and hands on support of Culture and DE&I initiatives.
  • Provide coaching for and execution of the 360 review process for leadership
  • Provide leadership in cadence, strategy and execution of key employee events and communications including Town Halls, leadership team meetings and other events.
  • In partnership with the People Team leader, evolve and evergreen succession management framework and talent assessment process.
  • Drive the effort to operationalize leadership capabilities guiding individual and team outcomes to support business objectives.
  • Lead and execute employee engagement / feedback mechanisms including pulse surveys, roundtables and focus groups; provide recommendations based on feedback.
  • Oversees HR Operations to ensure compliance, effectiveness and efficiency.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience


  • This leader will bring their creativity, energy, collaborative approach and experience to help drive a people-first approach to advance a high performing organization
  • Broad competency in People & Talent functions, typically achieved through 8+ years of experience in a human resources generalist or specialist function; experience in organizational development or L&D, 3+ years of experience managing a team.
  • Demonstrates strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop relationships and trust with employees.
  • Experience developing and implementing training programs.
  • Solid understanding of technology to ensure that technology aligns with overall strategy.
  • Exceptional project & program management skills.
  • Experience planning people and culture events and activities,
  • Passion for learning and seeing others grow and develop.
